Now in our 13th year we are super excited for our 2021/2022 season of classes in Widnes, Runcorn, Warrington and Frodsham.

Headed by Andrew Curphey (Actor & Theatre teacher) from Widnes and his team of talented performing arts tutors, the children and young people develop their skills in performing arts, musical theatre, drama, dance and singing. Whilst developing performance skills, participants also gain confidence and have lots of fun. Each year the students take part in many exciting live performance opportunities

While building an excellent reputation and offering excellent value for money, ACTC continues to have the added support of Marjorie Barlow (Gary’s Mother) who is the company’s Patron. Marjorie often attends the productions and shows her support!

Andrew said: “Our teaching and learning centres around the notion that children and young people are provided with a safe environment to develop and learn. They are given a platform to be who they are, showcase their talents, and encourage their confidence. The essence of the company has always been, and will forever be, that all of the children and young people have fun and create life long memories.”

Andrew most recently was commissioned by Halton Borough Council and the Mersey Gateway to create and direct a performance piece that was presented to Her Majesty the Queen and the Duchess of Sussex. It was a huge success and he was so lucky to have the opportunity to talk with both Her Majesty The Queen and Meghan about the performance. The performance and their responses whilst watching were captured by the World's media. It was featured on Sky News, BBC, ITV, ABC (America), Good Morning America, and in the UK press and across the world.

We offer evening classes in:
